Siglare support
Native iOS app. Updated 30 October 2026.
Add your own signature or an authorized stamp and share a separate PDF. No app account is needed.
Version notice: build 4 is being prepared. Its features below apply after that update is installed. Existing beta 1.0.0 (2) has no Pro, app lock, manual encrypted backup or new editing tools. This page does not announce an app release.
Open, scan or organize
In Documents, choose Open a document, From Photos or Scan document. Scanning needs camera access on a supported device. Cloud files may first download through their provider. Build 4 can receive PDF or image files through Open in Siglare when the source app offers it.
Create projects and folders with the folder-plus button. Search by name; use a document's three-dot menu to rename, move or delete it. Deleting a folder moves its contents up one level without deleting the documents.
Your signature or stamp
In My ink, draw a signature with your finger or Apple Pencil, or import a signature or stamp photo. Use white paper and good lighting, adjust Background cleanup, preview and save.
In the editor choose Signature or Stamp. Drag the mark into place; tap it to resize, rotate, duplicate or remove it. Find lines suggests possible positions from PDF text. Build 4 also recognizes labels in scans on-device. You always check the location and signing party.
Fill and reuse, build 4
Add text, dates and checkmarks with the editor tools. If text does not fit, enlarge its box or shorten it.
With Pro, Document actions can save or apply a signature, stamp and date layout. Its date refreshes on the current page. Check each placement before export.
Pages & PDF, with Pro, merges PDFs, reorders or removes pages and reduces size while preserving the source. Size reduction creates a visual copy that can lose selectable text and interactive forms. Keep the original when these matter.
Draft, review and send
Use Save draft in Document actions to continue editing later. Drafts keep copies of the marks they use. Deleting a reusable mark does not remove it from a stored draft.
Tap Review, inspect every page, confirm authorized use, then Save a copy and share. Share original PDF sends the source without draft additions. The original stays unchanged. Interactive fields and links may lose interactivity in the exported copy.
For build 4 one-time work, enable One-time signing before opening or scanning a new document. No document or draft is saved in the library. A protected temporary PDF is still created for sharing. A mark separately saved in My ink remains there.
Five free documents and Pro, build 4
Export five different signed PDFs free on the device. Re-exporting the same original uses no extra document. Pro enables unlimited signed PDF exports, reusable layouts, advanced PDF tools and encrypted backup creation. Saved files remain accessible when Pro ends.
Settings → Explore Siglare Pro shows the actual App Store price and period. Apple requires purchase confirmation. Pro renews automatically; manage or cancel it in Apple Account settings. Restore purchases checks an active subscription for the same Apple Account, not a document backup.
Lock and backup, build 4
Enable Face ID / device passcode in Settings for free app lock. Depending on the device, Apple offers Face ID, Touch ID or its passcode. Siglare does not receive biometric templates or the passcode.
In Backup & restore, Pro can create a password-encrypted .siglarebackup file. Use at least eight password characters, choose where to save the file and keep the password. Saved documents, drafts, marks, folders and layouts are included; one-time sessions are not.
Select the backup and enter its password to restore. Pro is not needed for restoration. Existing files stay intact and exact duplicates are skipped. There is no automatic cloud sync, server recovery or password reset.
Storage and deletion
The local library is excluded from automatic device backups. Export important files or make a manual backup before deleting the app or changing devices.
Delete a document through its three-dot menu. Delete marks in My ink, and layouts separately. These actions do not erase existing PDFs or backup snapshots. Delete App removes the local library; Offload App keeps it. Protected temporary PDFs older than 24 hours are cleaned at the next launch. Copies in other services need separate deletion.
Siglare places signature images, not certificate-based or qualified electronic signatures, and does not verify identity. Check recipient requirements and applicable law.
